So this past wednesday was my 21st birthday!! Party! :) On special occasions like these I realize how grateful I am for email and other forms of communication. My dad's in the air force, and he's often overseas. He's been in England, Germany, and Afghanistan for the past week. I was so happy to see an email from him on my birthday. It's amazing that we can communicate with people all over the world. We live in an amazing time in the history of the world.

Hooray! I'm glad that you got to hear from him. Having moved a lot growing up, I definitely appreciate email.

ReplyDeleteIt's so true. Modern communication really is such a blessing. Some times I can't even imagine what it was like back in the old'n days when you had to wait months just to get a letter from someone.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday! I'm definitely grateful for email, too. It's so much easier to keep in touch with people...I email my mom all the time.
